Community invited to participate in Arts and Culture Economic Impact Survey

The Muncie Arts and Culture Council, in partnership with The Center for Business and Economic Research at Ball State University, invites you to participate in a survey about the work and experiences of individuals and organizations involved in arts, culture, and creative activity in Muncie and Delaware County. Whether creativity is your full-time profession, part of your business or organization, a side gig, or something you pursue outside of another job, we want to hear from you.

Your responses will help us better understand the breadth of our local creative sector—including who is part of it, the work they do, the audiences and communities they reach, the resources they rely on, and the opportunities and challenges they encounter. The results will provide the Muncie Arts and Culture Council and community partners with better information to understand and support arts, culture, and creative activity across Muncie and Delaware County.

The survey should take approximately 10 minutes to complete. Your participation is entirely voluntary. You may skip any question you do not wish to answer and may exit the survey at any time. Your responses will be kept confidential. Findings shared publicly will be reported in aggregate, and no personally identifying information will be included in public reports or materials.

If you have questions about the survey, please contact Emily Wornell at ejwornell@bsu.edu.

Thank you for taking the time to share your experiences and help us better understand Muncie and Delaware County’s creative community.
