Anna Lublina Wants Your Bread Recipes!

Hello! My name is Anna, and I will be a visiting artist at PlySpace this Spring, arriving in early March and staying until late April, 2021.

I love making bread every week! It keeps me grounded and provides a warm, nourishing food for me to share with my friends and family. As an artist, I realized I wanted to share my love for bread through other mediums! That’s why I need your help. I’m gathering recipes and breadmaking techniques that I will use to build a multimedia installation and performance at PlySpace. I’m not sure exactly what it will look like yet, but I know I need the community’s help to bring it to life!

Do you have a bread recipe you love? Or even any kind of recipe for dough (Pizza, Noodles, Crackers!)? Have you been baking bread for years or for just a few months? Would you be willing to teach me some of your techniques?

I am looking for:

  • Written dough recipes you would like to share

  • Videos of your dough techniques

  • In-person (socially-distant, masked) lessons at your kitchen or mine

  • Some of your sourdough starter!

If you are interested in sharing or have any questions, please email me at annalublina@gmail.com

You can learn more about Anna and her upcoming project on her resident page! Stay tuned to find out more ways to be involved in her project this spring!
