Muncie Memories is a PlySpace and Muncie Arts and Culture Council project with PlySpace Resident Fellow Meredith Kooi. Muncie Memories is a collaborative storytelling project that invites the residents of Muncie to share their experiences, memories, and stories of the place they call home.
The project will collaborate with multiple Muncie organizations and community groups throughout June and July to capture elements of a living archive. Meredith is working with five BSU School of Art interns to collect stories and interviews, research local history, walk the city, and collect objects, all culminating in a First Thursday exhibition on August 1st at the PlySpace Gallery from 5 to 8 PM.
