The Teller - Linda Ryan Performance at October ArtsWalk

Feeling spooked about your finances? The Teller will see you now.

The Muncie Arts and Culture Council and PlySpace present a short performance by PlySpace Resident Linda Ryan during ArtsWalk on October 4th, 2018. Linda will perform a solo dance titled “The Teller” inside the former Chase Bank on Adams and Walnut Streets (220 S. Walnut Plz). The 10 minute performance about money, credit, and the sinister side of customer service will be viewable through the bank windows on Walnut Street, and will begin at 7:30 PM. The audience should gather outside of the building on Walnut Street shortly before the performance.

Linda Ryan joins PlySpace from Upstate New York and Washington, DC. Her performances and choreography seek to test the boundaries of dance performance through the use of unconventional costumes, tools, and technologies. She holds a BA in Dance from the George Washington University's Corcoran School of the Arts & Design, where she received the Luther Rice Research Fellowship as well as the Enosinian Scholars Grant. While in residence this fall, Linda will develop new dance technologies in the PlySpace studios and will conduct several contemporary movement workshops through Cornerstone Center for the Arts.
