About the Residency Program

  • Applicants can apply for several different types of residency depending on their practice and interest in working with the community. The type of residency offered to an applicant will be determined by the Selection Committee during the admissions process.

All residency types are free to attend and include living space and studio space in the MuncieArts/PlySpace facilities. No meals are included.

    1. PlySpace Studio Residency
2-4 week residencies for any discipline with a limited community requirement (e.g. public lecture, open studio, individual connection with community members/students, or other predetermined activity)
    Includes a $500 stipend.

    • This residency is for applicants who have a specific project they want to produce while in residence but do not have a specific community-focused project.

    • Applicants must submit a studio proposal. No community proposal is required.

    Includes a $1000 stipend.
